Based on the high street of the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, the village of Bourton on the Water, we are one of 24 year-round Christmas Shops based in the UK. 

A tradition brought across from the USA, the first UK Christmas shop opened in 1985 and others, including our very own, have since followed to answer the growing love for festive souvenirs as Christmas trees are filled with ornament memories and special touches.

We had the great privilege of taking over this well loved and recognisable store in February 2022 and have been so honoured to join many other independent stores and businesses based in our beautiful village. We are a small, but perfectly formed team of Christmas enthusiasts who are your very own advisors on all things festive, sparkly, fun, and quirky.

We pride ourselves on quality items, bespoke decorations and partnerships with both well-known brand names and independent homegrown designers.

But, most of all we love to meet every visitor that comes to see us in our small but perfectly formed store. From listening to heartfelt memories, to laugh out loud stories, to the tales of decorations collected from all over the world, every conversation makes our day just that little bit more enjoyable and is why we love spreading that festive spirit every moment that we can.

We know that many of you who visit us early in the season have luggage or transport options to consider or just can’t decide between all our collections to make an in-store purchase – therefore we hope that our website will be a welcome compliment to our store. We believe that a store experience is so important for our shoppers and for our community, but we also recognise that online shopping is also convenient and helpful to many.
